Chris Erlewein
Funeral Director/ Owner
Chris graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1980 and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1987. He married Regina in 1988 and are the proud parents of Max, Madeline and Macy.
Chris and Regina purchased the funeral business from the Marshall's in 2006. As a full service funeral home, we take pride in being able to provide families dignified, small town - family service in a home like atmosphere at a time when family is most important.

Max Erlewein
Funeral Director
Max graduated from Lincoln High School, in Cambridge City with the class of 2011, Hanover College with the class of 2015, and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2016. After a few years of working at the funeral home he took a brief hiatus and joined the National Guard. He completed basic training in 2020, went to Airborne School, and eventually Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he trained for 2 years. Upon his return from Fort Bragg in late 2022, Max returned to work at the funeral home.

Zachary Taylor
Funeral Assistant/Crematory Operator
Zach, formally of Michigan, met Max at the Atlanta Airport before attending basic training for the Army. He graduated basic training as an infantryman at Fort Benning, Georgia in early 2020, graduated Airborne school, and went on to Fort Bragg. Zach came to work for Marshall & Erlewein in July of 2025.
