CAMBRIDGE CITY- Vickie Jo Miller, 71, passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024, with family by her side. Vickie was born to Glen and Joan (Barnes) Hunt of Cambridge City. Vickie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970 and married her high school sweetheart Terry Miller. Vickie worked as a loan officer for many years at Second National Bank and Old National Bank. She was known for her beautiful smile, and all her customers loved her. She loved her family and her special dog, Crosby. She loved traveling with her mom and sister to Cape Cod, several times over the years, where they would go whale watching. Vickie loved music, especially the Beatles. The family took a trip to New York City to see Paul McCartney in concert. She also saw Ringo Starr in Ohio. She loved to take long rides on Saturdays with her son Lance and get lost on a country road. When she lived in Utah the family would take rides through The Tetons. Vickie was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge City and attended Locust Grove Church.
Vickie is preceded in death by her mother Joan, and her nephew, Joshua Hunt.
Vickie leaves behind her, former husband, Terry Miller; her daughter, Staci Saylor of Richmond; sons, Lance Miller of New Castle and Brandon Miller of Richmond; father, Glen Hunt of Cambridge City; sister, Sharon (Dave) Miles of Centerville; brother, Michael (Cindy) Hunt of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Ashlee (Donnie) Jennings, Chelsea Saylor; her great-grandchildren, Ja’dea, Journee and Landon.
There will be no public calling. At the discretion of the family there will be a private service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
