Theodore "Ted" Williamson

RICHMOND- Theodore D. “Ted” Williamson, 82, passed away in the evening of February 11th, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. Ted was born in Richmond, Indiana, on April 18th, 1940, to Elmer E. and June M. (Jenkins) Williamson. He was raised in Lewisville and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1958. Ted served his country in the United States Army and worked in management for Delta Airlines. While working, Ted received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University. He retired in 2002 after many years of service. He made his home in Riverdale Georgia, returning to Richmond, Indiana in August of 2020. In his free time, Ted enjoyed oil painting, photography, golf, and all sports.

          Ted is survived by his sister, Mary Ann (Tony) Hickman of Lewisville; and several nieces and nephews.

          Ted is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, William E. “Bill” Williamson ( Nov. 4th, 2003), Linda Brown (Mar. 20th, 2009), Helen Williamson (Feb. 19th, 2017), and Rebecca Railsback (Dec. 30th, 2020).

          Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and handling of Ted’s arrangements. At this time, there are no services planned. Memorial contributions can be made to Lewisville Cemetery, P.O. Box 218- Lewisville, Indiana 47352.
