Rosemary Bogue Obituary

PERSHING- Rosemary Sue “Rosie” Bogue, 75, loving mother of three and friend to many, passed away on Sunday, October 9th, 2022. Rosemary was born in New Castle, Indiana, to Claude and Eva (Longnecker) Ammerman on March 25th, 1947. Rosie worked and retired from the Richmond State Hospital where she made several lifelong friends. Rosie was a dedicated mother first and foremost and made her boys proud to call her ‘mom.’ Rosie treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Rosie especially loved her role as grandmother and enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren. Through the years, Rosie enjoyed cooking, crocheting Afghans, sitting on her front porch and most of all, spending time with those she loved at family gatherings. Rosie especially loved traveling with her best friend and sister, Jo Key. Rosie loved sitting on her sister Jo’s front porch in Tennessee, enjoying the view and company. Rosie was the life of the party, she made everyone laugh with her many stories of her boys growing up. Rosie passed along her wonderful sense of humor to her boys and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Ammerman; and one nephew, Landon Key.

Rosie is survived by her three sons, Donnie (Jolie) Bogue, David (Jenny) Bogue, and James (Carreen) Bogue; three sisters, Claudia “Jo” (Dennis) Key, Loretta “Joyce” Colvin, and Phyllis Ann; one brother, Dennis (Teresa) Ammerman; seven grandchildren, Nick Bogue, Blake Bogue, Maddie Bogue, Sam Bogue, Kennedy Campbell, Dakota Campbell, and Makenna Campbell; and special friend and niece, Terri Colvin. Rosie also leaves many other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will sadly miss her.
