Ron Redd

WILLIAMSBURG-  Ronald Gene “Ron” Redd, 69, passed away of a myocardial infarction on Friday June 20, 2025. Ron was born on August 16, 1955 in Richmond, Indiana.  His family moved to Williamsburg in 1969.  Ron graduated from Northeastern High School in 1976.  He moved to Houston, Texas and pursued positions in carpentry, and artistic pursuits. Ron returned to Williamsburg in 2004 to assist his mother following his father’s death. After his retirement, Ron continued with his artistic interests.

Survivors include 4 brothers, Keith (Cynthia) Redd, Steve (Betty) Redd, Paul (Diana) Redd, Larry (ex, Lorenda) Redd, his beloved nieces and nephews, Duane and Clayton Scott Redd, Amanda Kemp, Amy Redd,  Ariel, John and Maria Scaccia, Angel and Luke Redd, Robert Topp, Sarah Hornstein, Melissa Redd, Marsha Weber, Brian, Justin and Cristina Redd and Kristy Block; multiple great nieces and nephews.  Ron was preceded in death by his father, Floyd in 2004 and mother, Marilyn (Batchelor) Redd in 2015.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be announced at a future date.  Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
