Randy and Jennifer Boyd

MILTON-  Randy and Jennifer Boyd passed away at their home in Milton.  They had been in failing health.  Randy and Jennifer were married at Milton Christian Church and had lived most of their married lives in the Western Wayne community and Fayette County.

     A son of Gerald and Ellen (Harris) Boyd, Randy Dean Boyd was born in Richmond, Indiana on December 6, 1954. He was raised in rural Henry County and attended Tri High School. He served his country in the United States Army.  Randy worked as a machinist at Ready Tool & Die in Connersville and Ahaus Tool in Richmond. 

Randy was preceded in death by five brothers, Gene, Howard “Jimmy”, Fred, Rick and Larry Boyd.

The former Jennifer Kay Dalrymple was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 6, 1956. One of five children born to the late Vernon and Margaret (Greene) Dalrymple, Jennifer was raised in Milton and attended Lincoln High School.   She was a stay at home mom and had a motor route for the Connersville News Examiner for several years.  She enjoyed ceramics in her spare time.

 Jennifer is survived by her sister, Sharon (Wayne) Pollitt of Connersville and was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Dickie and Jeff Dalrymple.

Randy and Jennifer are survived by one son, Gary Dean (Emily) Boyd of Connersville;  two grandchildren Zach and Kendra Boyd; one great grandson, Grayson; nieces and nephews. 

They were preceded in death by a son, David Scott Boyd on November 29, 1995.

Following cremation, visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday February 20, 2023 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Zion’s Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing.
