Peggy Ann (Haskett) Ewing

STRAUGHN- Margaret Anne Ewing, affectionately known as "Peggy," peacefully passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 67 in Straughn, Indiana. Born on January 13, 1957, in New Castle, Indiana to Anna and Junior Haskett, Peggy graduated from Tri Jr.- Sr. High School in 1975 and dedicated 25 years of hard work at Draper.

She was preceded in death by her beloved late husband, Greg Ewing, whom she met in high school, and by her late brother, Jerry Haskett.

Peggy is survived by Justin Ewing (Amanda), and Bradley Ewing. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Camryn, Carson, Finley, Camille, Carly, and Brancyn Ewing. She is also survived by her siblings, Steve Haskett (Carolyn) and Barbra Owens (James).

 After retiring in 2022, Peggy cherished her time traveling with friends and creating cherished memories with her family. Her life was marked by kindness and a warm, welcoming personality that deeply touched all who knew her. Peggy will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A Memorial Visitation to celebrate Peggy's life will be held at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel, on Wednesday July 24th, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm. The burial service will be private for the family only at Ebenezer Cemetery.
