RICHMOND- Louetta Mae Carson Hale, 94, passed away Tuesday evening June 11, 2024, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Edward and Della (Hankins) Carey, Louetta was born on July 30, 1929, in Cambridge City, Indiana. Louetta was a lifelong resident of Wayne County and lived her adult life in the Richmond community. A homemaker, Louetta had worked at Thrift Drugs and in home healthcare. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Druids and participated in the Women’s Bowling League.
Survivors include 2 children, Kevin (Dan Caskey) Carson and Brenda Williams; 3 grandchildren, Jackie (Miriam) Carson, Kadie (David) Abbott and Jamie Williams; great and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Louetta was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Carson; daughter, Sherian Austerman; 2 infant children, Johnny Carson and Debbie Carson; granddaughter, Kimberly Redmon; son in-law, James Williams.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 18, 2024, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens- 4501 Indiana 227/ Richmond, IN 47374. Rev. Tim Scarbrough will officiate.
