Lee Lynch

DUBLIN-  Lee Lynch, 84, passed away Saturday evening, August 26, 2023 at Brickyard Healthcare- Golden Rule Care Center in Richmond, Indiana. A son of the late Herman and Martha (Maggard) Lynch, Lee was born on September 25, 1938 in Tyner, Kentucky.  He had lived in Hamilton, Ohio and Connersville prior to meeting the love of his life, the former Cassie Eileen Longnecker, at Doll’s Market in Dublin. After their marriage on December 31, 1961 they made Dublin their home.  Lee worked his second job at M.E.G. in Cambridge City for twenty years, but his primary job and skill was as a Drywall Finisher. He put the finishing touch on many area homes and buildings.  Lee was a member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge #5 F & AM and loved hunting trips with his son, fishing and riding motorcycles.

          Survivors include his son Doug (Lori) Lynch; sister Margaret Harris; his dog “Gator”; several nieces and nephews.

          Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie, on October 18, 2008; 6 siblings, including newborn infant, Landon, Herschel, Howard, and Carlos “Peanut” Lynch, Gladys Bates and Alma Erene Davidson.

          Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday August 30, 2023 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. Thomas Sproles will officiate.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.  The visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday August 29th.
