Kimberly "Kim" Jane (Vance) Lawrence

RICHMOND- Kimberly Jane Lawrence, 61, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 16th, 2023. Kim was born in New Castle, Indiana, on January 24th, 1962, to parents Dale M. and Leola B. (Goble) Vance. She was raised in the Dublin community and was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. Kim attended Lincoln High School and graduated from I.U. East with a degree in General Studies. Kim worked as a production worker for Holland Colours Americas Inc. for 18 years. In her spare time, Kim enjoyed arts and crafts, travelling, photography, working in her flower gardens, and reading.

          Kim is survived by her two children; Heather (Andy) Hill-Morrow and Kaitlyn Lawrence; two brothers, Marvin (Linda) Vance and Roger (Trinda) Thomas; and three sisters, Dalea Waters, Debra Ervin, and Robin Weilenman.

          Kim is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Treyton Scott Hill (Aug. 19th, 2017); two brothers, Gerald Thomas and Wayne A. “Butch” Vance; and two sisters, Becky Watson and Donna Shafer.

          Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the care and handling of Kim’s arrangements. Visitation for Kim will be held at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 21st, 2023.  Cremation will follow after.
