Kelli Jo (Smith) Brown

Greenfield- Kelli J Brown, age 42, of Greenfield, Indiana, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.  Born May 10, 1979, in Richmond, Indiana to Carl R. and Barbara J. (Fry) Smith of Centerville, Indiana.  Kelli graduated with honors from Centerville High School, Centerville, Indiana in 1997 and received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University East in 2002.  Kelli worked for the Social Security Administration in Indianapolis, Indiana for 16 years.  

Kelli was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend.  She had the most beautiful smile and spirit that could light up a room like sunshine.  She was loving and always positive.  She fought a 25-year battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma cancer that was thought to have a 5-to-15-year survival rate, always with strength, faith, positivity, and a smile.  Kelli will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  

Survived by her husband and best friend, Joshua D. Brown, Greenfield; Her mother, Barbara J. Smith, Centerville; and her brother and sister-in-law, Michael V., and Luci Smith of Lebanon; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl R. Smith, in 2008; paternal grandparents, Burl and Celestie Smith; maternal grandparents, Vernon, and Katherine Fry.  

Visitation from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday February 9th, 2022, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. 40, 1993 Cumberland St., Dublin, IN.  Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville will follow service.
