Kathy Skinner Obituary

Kathleen D. Skinner (74) of Richmond left this world and went into the arms of Jesus on Saturday morning February 12, 2022.  She was born February 1, 1948, the daughter of Roland and Eloise (Sharpe) Gross in Richmond, Indiana.  Kathy, as her family and friends know her, graduated from Centerville High school in 1966. She retired from Richmond Police Department Traffic Division. Kathy loved Christmas and snow. She would get so excited when snow started falling. She loved hummingbirds and enjoyed watching them with her husband. Kathy loved her family and friends deeply. 

Left to cherish her memory are the love of her life, husband Donald Skinner, daughter Tammy Hall (Greg), son Douglas Skinner (Karen), daughter Melanie Roberts (Andy), bonus son Tom Bradfield (Jaimi); grandchildren, Brandon Bergfield, Joshua Bergfield (Amanda), Erin Skinner-Unruh (Robby), Maleah Hall, Jayda Roberts, Gregory Hall. Brothers Mike Gross and Mickey Gross. Special friends Darrel and Clara Honaker and John and Sharon Heacox. Many other friends and family. 

          Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kerry. 

          A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital- 501 St. Jude Place * Memphis, TN 38105, in honor of Kathy Skinner.
