Judy Dick

CAMBRIDGE CITY-  Judith Elaine “Judy” Dick, 74, passed away Monday evening June 24, 2024, at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. One of eight children born to the late John and Betty (Stuart) Hicks, Judy was born in New Castle, Indiana on July 29, 1949. She was raised in the Cambridge City community and attended school there. Judy married the love of her life, Larry Dick on October 30, 1965, in New Lisbon, Indiana. Judy had worked at the Ford Plant in Connersville for a short time, but the job she worked at every day and cherished the most, was being a devoted wife, mother and granny to her family. Judy relaxed by staying busy. She never sat still. She will be remembered for baking delicious pies and making Sunday dinners for her family. Judy enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening and any time spent with her kids and grandkids. She was proud of them all.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Larry Dick; 2 children, Lori (Jim) Nicholas and Mark Dick; 4 grandchildren, Josh (Allie) Weesner, Nikki (Chris) Hendrickson, Justin Dick and Makayla (Brian Dunaway) Dick; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Susie Poe, Steve, John, Jim Dave and Richard Hicks; nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Donna Flowers and Mary Moore.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday June 29, 2024 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at New Lisbon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday June 28th from 4-7 p.m..
