ANDERSON- James Ronnie Isaacs, 76, passed away peacefully May 23, 2020 at his home in Anderson, Indiana. Formerly of Fayette County, Indiana, James Ronnie was born in Connersville, Indiana on March 27, 1944. He was the son of the late Leslie and Hallie Isaacs and grew up south of Bentonville on the Fairview Road. He graduated from Fayette Central High School with the class of 1962. Ron was a lifelong sports fan and enjoyed watching I.U. basketball and football. Ron enjoyed the simple things in life, cooking, crappie and bluegill fishing, growing a garden, canning the vegetables, and having some ice cream. He worked as a truck driver for Churchill Truck Lines and Commercial Lovelace Motor Freight. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and received recognition for over one million miles driven without an accident.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Roland Isaacs of Carmel and Chris Isaacs of Greenfield; several grandchildren; 2 siblings, Sharon Fisher of Carmel and Eugene Isaacs of Pershing.
Ron was preceded in death by 4 siblings, infant Herschel, Richard and Woodrow Isaacs and Shirley Spegal.
Following cremation at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, private burial service was held 1 p.m. on May 27, 2020 at Bentonville Cemetery where he was laid to rest next to his parents and his brother, Richard.
