Jacob Clark-Amyx Obituary

MILTON- Jacob Paul Clark-Amyx, 35, passed away Saturday afternoon December 28, 2024.  Jacob was born in New Castle, Indiana on October 6, 1989. Jacob lived his entire life in the Milton/Cambridge City area and attended Lincoln and Hagerstown Schools.  He worked in the construction industry doing concrete and framing.  Jacob also did some farming and when younger, as a member of 4H, showed horses at the Fayette County Fair. Jacob enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a good uncle to his nieces and nephews and gave much love and care to his grandma.  Jacob recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and found peace and comfort in reading the bible and attending church services. He was a member of Bible Methodist Church in Connersville.

            Jacob was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Jean (Hunter) Amyx on September 22, 2013.  Survivors include his 2 dads, Jim Amyx and Imal Clark; grandmother, Margurite Clark; 3 brothers, Jimmy Amyx, Travis Duane (Shelly) Amyx and Trenton William Amyx; 7 nieces and nephews; uncles, Mark (Teresa) Hunter, Sam and Murel Clark; aunts, Joyce Oakes, Jo Hunter, Lynn Hill, Ellen Clark, DeAnn K. (Tom Budnick) Amyx and Penny Amyx.    

Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation services. A private celebration of Jacob’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
