Ellen Sue Clayton

DUBLIN-  Ellen Sue Clayton, 65, passed away Thursday April 16, 2020 at her home in Dublin, Indiana.  Ellen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 5, 1954.  She was a graduate of Northwest High School in Indianapolis.  Ellen and her husband John moved to Dublin 20 years ago from Indianapolis to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.  She had worked as a restaurant cook and has been retired for 4 years.  Ellen loved all animals and was a frequent donor to animal charities.  In her leisure, Ellen enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time at the beach with her husband.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, John Clayton, whom she married in Clayton, Indiana on October 17, 1973; her mother, Mary (Alexander) Luhman and her sister, Kathy Rembold both of Danville.  She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Luhman.

Due to current COVID-19 protocol, no services are planned at this time.  Ellen can be memorialized privately and with memorial contributions to H.E.L.P. the Animal Shelter- P.O. Box 117/ Richmond, IN 47374.
