Delight Bromley

CAMBRIDGE CITY- Delight K. Bromley, 76, passed away Thursday night October 12th, 2023, at Hickory Creek of New Castle, Indiana. Delight was born on March 31st, 1947, in Connersville, Indiana, to the late Paul and Dorothy (Sasser) Crawford. She attended Connersville High School. Delight lived most of her life in Cambridge City/ Wayne County and married Ronald W. Bromley, on September 26th, 1980, in Manchester Tennessee. Delight enjoyed playing music for her husband, who was an Elvis impersonator, as they entertained at area nursing homes, parades and festivals. Delight was a member of Cambridge City Christian Church.  She enjoyed people and always made sure she had a gift to give any visitor.

          Delight is survived by her three children, Susanne (Bill) Huffman of Farmland, Michael (Jo Ann) Stomm of Cambridge City, and Samantha (Martin) Garcia of Hershey, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Lacey and Dakota Atkinson, Daniel Bowne, Sabra Dale, Amanda Miller and Corina Garcia; four great grandchildren; one step granddaughter, Heather; and one step grandson, Chase; special nieces and nephews; and special friend, Billy Mays.

          Delight was preceded in death by her husband, Ron on July 12th, 2011.

          Following cremation at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City at the convenience of the family.
