Charles Hickman Jr.

MOORELAND- Charles Allen Hickman Jr., 58, passed away at his home outside of Mooreland, Indiana on Wednesday November 29, 2023. Charles was born in Rushville, Indiana on January 9, 1965.  He graduated from Charles A. Beard High School in Knightstown with the class of 1983.  He worked many years for Jessop Amusements before taking a manufacturing job in Greenfield. Shortly after that, in 2004, Charles was involved in an automobile accident which left him disabled due to a traumatic brain injury. Charles was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews, his Yorkie dogs and traveling.

          Survivors include his mother, Lena Martha Alice (Kuhn) Hickman of Mooreland, one sister, Tammy (Bill) Rumler of Shirley; 2 nephews, Michael, and Andrew Rumler; several cousins. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Hickman Sr. on May 5, 2022; one niece, Bryanna Rumler of April 28, 2000.

           There are no services planned currently. Charles wished to be memorialized privately. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel has been entrusted with the cremation services.
