Bonnie Fry Obituary

RICHMOND- Bonnie Lu Fry, 83, passed away in the morning at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022. Bonnie was born on May 28th, 1939, in Randolph County, Indiana to William Heston and Grace Louise (Hiatt) Galbreath. Growing up she attended Lynn High School, and as a teenager she attended and played the piano at Lynn Methodist Church.  Formerly of Straughn she moved to the Modoc area where she resided. Bonnie married Richard “Dick” Fry on March 14th, 1955, in Lynn, Indiana, spending her time as a homemaker and loving mother. She thoroughly enjoyed her ceramics, gardening, playing cards and board games, and watching her kids participate in sports.

            Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband on July 16th, 2009.

            Bonnie is survived by her three children, Starletta “Star” (Johnny Stephenson) Lane, Judy K. (Dan Carter) Fry, and Duane A. (Nancy) Fry; eight grandchildren, Tara (Michael) Hilbert, Travis (Allison) Lane, Austin Fry, Dustin (Jessie) Rice, Emma Lowden, Samantha Whallon, Courtney (John) Blevins and Adam (Chrissy) Whallon; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Bill, and Mike Galbreath.

            Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home Dublin, Indiana has been entrusted with Bonnie’s cremation. The family will memorialize Bonnie privately with a cookout, which was one of Bonnie’s favorite activities.
