CAMBRIDGE CITY- Betty June Foster, 83, passed away early Friday morning January 30, 2026 at Morristown Manor in Morristown, Indiana. Betty was born in Cambridge City, Indiana on September 29, 1942 to the late Leslie Aaron and Charlotte E. (Coleman) Foster. Betty graduated from Rushville High School and Nursing School. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years in health care facilities and for home health care agencies. Betty was always taking care of someone, from raising her nephew Adam, to helping neighbors in the community. A member of a non-denominational Christian church, Betty also spent several years working as a missionary in Indiana, and North Carolina. Much of her adult life was spent in Cambridge City where she cared for her mother until her passing in 2013. Betty was a big part of the community and was involved in the creation of the Cambridge City Crime Watch.
Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Williams, Leslie A. Foster II, Daniel Foster, and Patricia Wharton; nephew, Ryan Foster.
Survivors include, her sister, Teresa Tieman of Alaska; several nieces, nephews and cousins including, nephews, Adam and Aaron Foster; nieces, Robin Foley and Kloe Foster; great niece, Kodah Brower and great nephew, Kai Foster.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the start of funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday February 6, 2026 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at Layton Cemetery, located 3 miles south of Milroy in Rush County on County Road 100 W.
