Barbara Ann Davis

DUBLIN- Barbara Ann Davis, 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, January 25th, 2022, at Majestic Care in Connersville, Indiana. Barbara was born on September 11th, 1923, in New Castle, Indiana to parents Oscar and Cecile (Van Meter) McGee. Barbara was in the graduating class of “41” at Spiceland High School. She lived in Arizona for 15 years prior to moving to Centerville, Indiana in 2004. She and her late husband, Ray E. Davis, married on July 14th, 1973, in New Castle, Indiana. Barbara and her husband had three children together, George, Paul and Carol. Aside from being a mother and wife, Barbara worked in the Dietary Department at Richmond State Hospital, where she later retired in 1986. She was an Auxiliary member of the Richmond V.F.W.

Survivors include, one son, George Davis of Nevada: one daughter, Carol Monroe of Richmond.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Davis on August 6th 2011; son, Paul Davis; two brothers, Herbert McGee, and James McGee; two sisters, Glenna and Eva Rose.

Barbara wished to be memorialized privately. Cremation has been entrusted to

Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home.
