Ashley Nicole Dunaway

CONNERSVILLE- Ashley Nicole Dunaway, 25, passed away Thursday morning June 9, 2022, at her home in Connersville, Indiana.  Ashley was born in Richmond, Indiana on June 2, 1997.  She grew up in the Cambridge City/Western Wayne community and attended Lincoln High School. Ashley was a dedicated mom and loved her two children with all her heart. In her leisure, she enjoyed doing arts, crafts, sewing and video games. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Connersville.

           Survivors include her daughter, Ayla Braley Hope Dunaway; father, Jerry Keith (Sandy Clark) Dunaway Jr.; mother, Tracy Renea Faw; 2 brothers, Jacob Shane (Terri) Dunaway, and Isaiah Scott Dunaway; 4 step siblings, Jessica (Nick) Burkhardt, Emilee (Mike) Humbert, Eryn (Shannon Boyd) Clark and, Cody (Rebekah) Clark; paternal grandparents, Jerry Keith, and Brenda Joyce (Flannery) Dunaway; maternal grandparents, William Raphal (Debby) Faw and Bonnie Lou (Adkins) Gillispie; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

          Ashley was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Jake Scott Dunaway on January 29, 2021, and maternal step grandfather, Clyde Gillispie.

          Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday June 15, 2022, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Pastor John Reynolds will officiate a Celebration of Ashley’s Life, at 3 p.m. on Thursday June 16th at Calvary Baptist Church- 309 West 24th Street/ Connersville, IN 47331 with dinner to follow.
