MODOC-  William Mervin "Willie" Moore Jr., 78, passed away Wednesday afternoon October 20, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana from complications of COVID19.  A son of the late William M. and Lavita Aleen (Crawley) Moore Sr., Willie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 24, 1942.  Formerly of the Dublin community he has made his home near Modoc since 1973.  Willie had been employed at Lee Cylinder in Cambridge City, Hays Track in Richmond and as a truck driver but he had a life long interest in the salvage business which he worked most of his life.

Survivors include his companion of 30 years, Linda (Likens) Grizzle of Modoc; 1 son, Timothy Daniel (Michelle) Moore of Muncie; 2 step children, Brenda (Ronald) Limburg and Jeff Harris; grandchildren, Timothy Moore, Donald Scott and Dusty Paul Massengale, Wendy, David, Joseph, Lisa, Tristan, Priscilla, Jeffery Jr., and Alexa Harris; 2 great grandsons, Dominic Massengale and Eli Harris; siblings, Lady Ann Sutton, Dennis Moore, Marcella George, Raymond Moore, Sallie Jo Caldwell, Linda Terry and Walter Moore; several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation will be completed by Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home.
