CAMBRIDGE CITY- Wilbur L. Hunt, 62, passed away on Wednesday morning July 25, 2012 at the Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Indiana. Wilbur was born in New Castle on September 2, 1949. He has lived most all his life in the Cambridge City community and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1968. Wilbur was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving in Vietnam. He had worked for several years at Chore Boy in Cambridge City before retiring for health reasons. Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth (Cole) Hunt whom he married in Connersville on September 21, 1985. 1 son, Bradley C. (Dana) Hunt of Dublin; parents, Wilbur L. and Ann Marie (Collier) Hunt of Cambridge City; 2 grandsons, Tyler and Bret Hunt; 3 brothers, Gregory Hunt of Cambridge City, Michael (Kathy) Hunt and Douglas (Vicki) Hunt both of Connersville; 1 sister, Peggy (Mike) Cain of Hagerstown; 1 stepson, Dallas (Misty) Clapp of Lewisville; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Friday July 27, 2012. Burial with military honors conducted by the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169 will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
