Pershing: Virginia Prather, 85 passed away on May 31, 2010 in Norfolk. VA. She was born on November 24, 1924 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Virgie (Marcum) Pace. Virginia was raised and graduated from high school in College Corner Indiana, then moved to Pershing when she was 25 years old. She moved to Norfolk VA in 2005 to be near her daughter. Surviving relatives include; daughter; Linda Young, granddaughter Amber Krall both of Norfolk, VA, and sister Flora Frazee of College Corner, Indiana. Preceded in death by; parents, husband Emory Earl "Pete" Prather (August 10, 1970) and a son Jay Prather (1992).
