RICHMOND- Victor James "Bill" Hunt, 89, passed away to join his wife Hazel, on December 21, 2011 at his home in Richmond, Indiana. Victor was born in Cambridge City, Indiana on May 22, 1922. Victor served his country as a corporal in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169 in Cambridge City and a charter member of the Moose Lodge in Tampa , Florida. Victor had worked 25 years at NATCO in Richmond and retired as maintenance supervisor for the Hillsboro County Parks Department in Tampa, Florida. Survivors include 2 brothers, Wilbur Hunt and Howard Bowman Jr.; 4 children, Julia Ann Holloway, Victor Hunt "Bub" Jr., Dennis Hunt and Joe Hunt; 5 stepchildren, Donald Myers, Connie Burns, Roger Myers, Terry Wright and Karen Mofield; 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 21 step great grandchildren; 3 step great great grandchildren. Victor was preceded in death by his wife Hazel I. (Stuart) Hunt on May 11, 2011; father Otis Hunt; mother and stepfather, Ester and Howard Bowman; sister, Mary Lou Hays. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. on Friday December 23, 2011 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial with Military Services conducted by the United States Army Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 169 will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
