CAMBRIDGE CITY - Troy Lee Breeden, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning May 13, 2017 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, Indiana. A son of the late Charles K. and Elvira Lucille (Stuart) Breeden, Troy was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 1, 1957. He grew up in the Cambridge City/Western Wayne community and has lived at Benchmark Group Home in Richmond and its predecessors' since 1989. Troy liked to dress up and go to dances and provided much joy to his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music, was a big Elvis fan. He also bowled and participated in the Special Olympics where he was awarded several ribbons and medals.
Survivors include 4 brothers, Jake (Mary Ann) Breeden of Dublin, Eddie (Tina) Breeden, Kenny Breeden and Brent (Libby) Breeden all of Cambridge City; several nieces and nephews. Troy was preceded in death by his mother on December 8, 1983; father on September 29, 1985; and his brother, Richard Lee Nix Sr. on April 18, 2012.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday May 18, 2017 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Family friend, Larry McDaniel will officiate. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday May 17th .
