STRAUGHN-  Thomas Virgil Stewart, 69, passed away Monday evening November 16, 2020 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  A son of the late Clarence Bradley and Audrey Lee (Shoopman) Stewart, Tom was born in New Castle, Indiana on December 6, 1950.  He has lived his entire life in the Straughn and Henry County community.  Tom was a member of the Straughn Community Chapel and the American Legion Post 169 in Cambridge City.  Tom worked alongside his brother Brad for many years as co-owner of Stewart's Drywall. Tom enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren, "muddin", automobile racing and attending car shows.

Survivors include his son, Perry (Niki) Kingery of Cambridge City; 3 grandchildren, Allison, Tyler, and Addy Kingery; 8 siblings, Eugene (Carolyn) Stewart, Lucille Pierce, Betty Gosnell, Janie Siggers, Brad, Nancy, Robert and Rhonda Stewart; several nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his father on April 29, 2009 and his mother on December 30, 2017.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday November 20, 2020 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel.  Face masks are required.  Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday November 21st at Lewisville Cemetery.  Pastor Dave Branham will officiate.
