RICHMOND-  Tobias Edwin Cornett Sr., 46, passed away Sunday June 5, 2022.  Tobias was born in Fort Huachuca, Arizona on January 6, 1976.  He grew up in the Abington/Centerville communities and graduated from Centerville High School in 1994.  Toby worked as a forklift operator and was currently employed at Hoosier Container in Richmond, Indiana.  Toby was a gifted musician and played with several bands.  He was especially talented at playing the drums and guitar.

Survivors include his mom and step-father, Patricia Ann (Fields) and James Elstro; 3 children, Hannah (Brandon) Clark, Kayne Allen Cornett and Tobias Edwin Cornett; 4 grandchildren, Harper, Hendrix, Brentley and Grayson; 2 siblings, Timothy Scott Cornett and Katrina (Todd) Zurwell.  Toby was preceded in death by his father, Timothy B. Cornett in 2010.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Saturday June 11, 2022 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Burial will follow at Abington Cemetery in Abington, Indiana.
