PERSHING-  Tia Lynn Dale, 50, passed away from complications of a stroke on Monday evening November 28, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Tia was born in Richmond, Indiana on March 22, 1972.  She had lived in Oklahoma prior to moving to Western Wayne County five years ago. A homemaker, Tia had worked as a Teacher's Aid, but her most important job was taking care of her grandkids.  Tia was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed watching butterflies. She was a member of the New Castle V.F.W..

Survivors include her father, Gary Lee Cox; 3 children, Dillon (Vanessa) Goldey, Taylor (Paige) Goldey and Camden Dale; 3 grandchildren, Jace, Hayes and Margaret Goldey; 5 siblings, Ronnie Hackney, Melinda "Mindy" Paille, Jason and Tessa Cox and Stefani Rogers; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tia was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Denise Dale; daughter, Sherry Ann Dale.

Following cremation, family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. on Friday December 2, 2022 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin.
