IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teresa
Robeson
December 14, 1960 – December 17, 2025
PERSHING - Teresa Ann Robeson passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, December 17, 2025 after several years of declining health. Teresa was born to Luther and Pearl (Neal) Sparks on December 14, 1960, in Irvine, Estill County, Kentucky.
Teresa grew up in the Centerville and Cambridge City, Indiana area. A 1979 Lincoln High School graduate, she went on to receive a nursing degree from Ivy Tech College.
Her entire career was spent in long-term health care facilities which she was passionate
about.
In June of 1983 Teresa married the love of her life, William "Bill" Robeson at the United
Methodist Church in Pershing, Indiana. In 1986 she and Bill were blessed with a son, Michael
Robeson (Julie) of Richmond, Indiana and in 1993 Teresa was elated to have another son,
Robert Robeson of Cambridge City, Indiana to complete their family. You will never find a
mother who loved and adored her children more than Teresa. She was born to be a
mother and caretaker and for her…. That made her life complete.
If we thought Teresa couldn't love any stronger after Michael and Robert's arrival, we
quickly realized grandchildren were the ultimate joy for her. Johnathan "Johnny" and
William "Billy" Robeson always brought a smile to her face and a twinkle in her eye.
Teresa is survived by her parents and loving husband, Bill. Sister, Pam Williams of
Marco Island, Florida. Her nieces, Sam, Ginny, Krista, and Madison. Nephews, Taylor and
Keaton. She is also survived by her brother and sisters-in-law Steve and Barbara Robeson and
Tom and Randi Robeson as well as nieces and nephews: Sara, Jack, Emily, Heidi,
Katie, Kalie and Lindsey, Kayli and Tyler.
Teresa was predeceased in death by her brother, Richard Allen Sparks in 2018.
Teresa was soft-spoken, loved living a very simple life and loved deep and wide for
those who were fortunate enough to feel it. She will be missed by her family immensely.
The family would like to thank the Reid Hospital Hospice Team, Dr. Shah, who fought
alongside Teresa with amazing compassion. We could not have asked for a better
Team for Teresa in her final weeks.
Per Teresa's wishes there will be a private gathering at the convenience of the family.
She will be laid rest at Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing on Friday December 19, 2025.
Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with Teresa's arrangements.
