CAMBRIDGE CITY- Susan A. Green, 86, passed away on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at her home in Cambridge City, Indiana. A daughter of the late Hugh and Minnie (Justice) Roddy, Susan was born in Oliver Springs, Kentucky on June 5, 1924. Formerly of Richmond, Susan has made her home in Cambridge City for the past 6 years. She and her husband had owned and operated an auction house in Lexington, Kentucky for several years and she had also worked for Wal Green Drug Stores. Survivors include 2 sisters- Mary Sparks of Lexington, Kentucky and Cecil Anderson of Harlan, Kentucky; 1 brother- Jay Roddy of Harlan, Kentucky; nieces and nephews including Ken Roddy who was her caregiver. Funeral services where held in Harlan, Kentucky with burial there in Rest Haven Cemetery. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home have been entrusted with the local arrangements.
