CAMBRIDGE CITY- Steven J. Fisher, 81, long time resident of the Cambridge City area passed away Friday November 25, 2022 at Heritage House Nursing Home in Connersville, Indiana.  Steve or "Dark Eyes" as a lot of people knew him, led a long and colorful life and will be missed by friends and family. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on June 19, 1941 to Joe and Margie Fisher. The family moved to the Cambridge City area when Steve was 8 years old. Steven lived in several places throughout his life but most of it was spent in the Cambridge City/Dublin area. He was a lifelong musician and avid CB radio user going by his handle Dark Eyes. He played music throughout his life at various Bars, American Legions, Amvets and various other clubs and private venues during this time.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Margie (Chaplin) Fisher and Joe E. Fisher; sister, Sandy (Fisher) Helms.

He Fathered 6 children from 2 marriages, Amanda and Nate Moore, Jeannie (Joe) Burns, Joseph (Mandi) Fisher, Carrie (Justin) Martin and Steven Chase Fisher.

Memorial visitation will be held at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, on Tuesday November 29, 2022 from 4:00 To 7:00 p.m.
