Cambridge City- Stephen "Steve" Sobczak, 71, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday morning February 2nd, 2022, due to failing health. Steve was born in Jermyn, Pennsylvania on April 30th, 1950, he graduated from high school and attended Diesel Mechanic School and was employed as a Certified Diesel Mechanic. Steve made his home in Hawaii for forty-nine years, until just recently moving to the Cambridge City area two years ago to be close to his brother Ray. Outside of working on trucks, Steve really enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and tinkering on projects.

Steve is survived by a brother, Raymond (Rose) Podlewski of Pershing.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Veronica Sobczak; wife, Jane Sobczak; and brother, Stanley Podlewski.
