CAMBRIDGE CITY-  Shirley Ann Longnecker, 78, passed away Thursday afternoon April 8, 2021 at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Indiana.  A daughter of the late John and Ruth M. (Sears) Graham, Shirley was born in Greenfield, Indiana on August 7, 1942.  She graduated from Greenfield Central High School and following her marriage to Marvin Longnecker, she has made her home in Cambridge City.  A homemaker, Shirley had worked at Lakeview Restaurant and was a member of the Cambridge City Church of the Nazarene.  In her leisure, Shirley wrote poetry, some of which was published.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Marvin Longnecker; 3 children, April Spaulding, Bryan and Chad Longnecker; 6 grandchildren, Kristin Watson, Jessica Coe, Jazmine, Dylan, Michael and Elizabeth Longnecker; 4 great grandchildren, Kylee Cooper, Brynn Fahl, Liam Watson and Luna Longnecker; 3 siblings, Gordon and Harold Graham and Donna Longnecker.

Shirley was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Longnecker and a brother, John Graham Jr..

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, where cremation will follow. Please wear your face mask.
