Liberty - Shell Lorraine Bowne, 65, of Liberty passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Wolfe) Erlewein, Shell was born on March 22, 1953 in Connersville, Indiana. She worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. Shell was passionate about educating others in order to help them succeed in their careers. She loved her family very much and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Clyde F. Bowne; 2 daughters, Stephenie Southard of Chicago, IL and Amy Johnson of Liberty; 4 grandchildren, Cole Peterson, Riley Southard, Alex Johnson and Genna Johnson; 1 sister, Teresa Volkerding of Morrow, OH. Shell is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Beth Joy in 1974.
