RICHMOND – Sheila Herzog, 73, of Richmond, passed away Sunday evening, March 23, 2014 at IU Health – Methodist in Indianapolis. She was born on January 1, 1941 in Richmond to Rudolph and Mary Merle (Shatto) Herzog. Sheila is a Richmond High School Graduate and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Richmond. She enjoyed writing poetry, gardening, watching movies, expressing her flair for fashion and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sister, Charmaine Crye of McCordsville, Indiana; brother, Paul (Francis) Edwards of Tonto Basin, Arizona; five nephews; five nieces; eight great nephews; eight great nieces; six great-great nephews; eight great-great nieces.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, George Crye on January 1,2010.

Family and friends may visit from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at Earlham Cemetery, Richmond.
