LEWISVILLE - Sharla (Huffman) Massengale, 51, of Lewisville passed away at her home while surrounded by her family on Monday, November 17, 2014. Sharla was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 12, 1963 to Eldon "Eck" and Hazel (Mohler) Huffman. She graduated from Tri High School with the class of 1981and worked as a receptionist at Draper Co. in Spiceland. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being outdoors, and boating. Sharla was a member of the New Lisbon Christian Church and served as Chairman for the Relay for Life team at Draper Co. for several years. Survivors include her mother; children, Brandon Boyd and Brittany Boyd (fiance Kody Kindstrand); siblings, Brenda (Greg) Thompson, Steve (Teresa) Huffman, Carol (Paul) Huffman, Kathy (Jerry) Walden, Joyce (Jeff) Stewart; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews. Sharla was preceded in death by her father on November 8, 2006 and brother, Jack Huffman on March 4, 1963. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Lomison will officiate. Burial will follow at Lewisville Cemetery.
