CAMBRIDGE CITY – Sandra Sue Zook, 86, passed away Tuesday October 22nd, 2024 at her home. A daughter of the late William and Mary Eleanor Stokes, Sandra was born on July 25th, 1938 in Lewis, Indiana. She graduated from Straughn High School with the class of 1956. Sandra worked as a reading tutor at the Dublin and Milton Schools, as well as Western Wayne Elementary. She married Edward Lawrence Zook on February 22nd, 1957. In her leisure, Sandra was an active member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Red Hat Club, Riverside Cemetery Board and the Cambridge City Christian Church. Sandra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the joy of her life.

Survivors include her three children; Jacqueline (Tim) Barricklow of Connersville, Dean (Marta) Zook of Noblesville, and William (Sharon) Zook of Choctaw, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Drew and Cole (Lauren) Barricklow, Christopher, Jaci and Mason (Stephanie) Zook, and Joseph (Mikalia) Daniels; one sister, Judith Knight; many nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward Lawrence Zook, who passed away on August 18th, 2005 and her brother, Jim Stokes.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Danny Berry will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at the funeral home.
