KNIGHTSTOWN - Sandra L. (Gorman) Back, 66, of Knightstown passed away August 4, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Henry County on April 10, 1948 to Lawrence and Virginia (Ayres) Gorman. Sandra was employed by Gas America/Speedway before her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, yardwork, fishing, playing cards and board games. Survivors include her children, Ronnie Dom Back and Heidi (Gabe) Carmichael both of Knightstown; grandchildren, Danielle (Eric) Schlechtweg, Haley Back, Emma Carmichael, Mason Carmichael, Landon Carmichael, and Samantha Coyle; great-grandchildren, Rown & Michael Schlechtweg, Aubrey Waldschmidt; siblings, Larry (Barb) Gorman of Peru, Indiana, Ginger Loveall of Knightstown, Duane (Kyong) Gorman of South Carolina, Susan (Steve) Beeler of Rushville; sister-in-law, Roxie Gorman of Knightstown, several nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Akers, and Kathy Jones; brother, Monte Gorman. A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
