Ruth Ann
(Roberts) Moschel-Dick
June 27, 1944 – February 7, 2025
CAMBRIDGE CITY- Ruth Ann Moschel-Dick, 80, formerly of Milton, passed away Friday morning February 7th, 2025, at Vita Senior Living Center in New Whiteland, Indiana. A daughter of the late E. L. and Nita Jean (Thomas) Roberts, Ruth was born in Wayne County, Kentucky, on June 27th, 1944. Ruth was raised West of Milton in Fayette County, and attended Bentonville Elementary School prior to graduating from Connersville High School in 1963. She and her first husband of 39 years, Harry D. Moschel, were married in Dublin on May 26th, 1967. Ruth and Harry raised their two girls and lived in the Milton community for many years. Ruth worked as a Rural Mail Carrier from the Milton Post Office until her retirement in the early 2000's. Ruth was a member of the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. Following Harry's passing, Ruth married Steve Dick in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in 2008 and moved on the farm North of Dublin. Ruth loved all animals, especially her cats.
Survivors of Ruth include two daughters; Hollie (Josh) Tekulve and Robin (Josh) Kinnick; three grandchildren, Shelby Tekulve, Brandon and Natalie Kinnick; husband, Steve Dick; sister, Nancy (Larry) Bowen; several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, on July 28th, 2006; three siblings, Judy Nichols, Tom and Jackie Roberts.
Ruth's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Vita Senior Living for the exceptional care they gave to their mom.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday February 12th, 2025, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Tim Webb will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
