LEWISVILLE- Roscoe William Mofield, 72, passed away Monday morning November 12, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown, Indiana. A son of the late Simon E. and Roxie Beatrice (Wesley) Mofield, Roscoe was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 20, 1946. Roscoe has lived most of his life in Henry County and graduated from Lewisville High School. He also received an Associates Degree from Warren Wilson College in North Carolina and a Bachelors Degree in Education from Ball State University. Roscoe retired from DANA Corporation where he worked as an iron pourer in the New Castle foundry.

Survivors include his daughter, Kara Lukens of Knightstown; 2 grandchildren, Jackson Lukens and Leatris (Jon) Jordan; 1 sister, Bonnie (Al) South of Florida.

Roscoe was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell (Gosser) Mofield and a brother, Richard Mofield.

Following cremation at the Eastern Indiana Crematory of Dublin, private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Lewisville Cemetery. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
