LEWISVILLE- Ronald E. "Ronnie" Bell, 55, passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana. Ronnie was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 11, 1957. He had lived in Cadiz and Spiceland before moving to Lewisville. Ronnie had worked as a diesel mechanic at TMC Trucking in Indianapolis and most recently as a semi truck driver at Hickerson Trucking in Greenfield. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Connersville. Survivors include his wife Penny L. (O'Dell) Bell. They were married in Sexton on October 20, 2006; mother and step-father, Mary (Sharp) and Ronald Pierce of New Castle; 6 children, Jennifer Jesse of Chicago, Illinois, Ronnie Bell II of Muncie, James Bell of Lewisville, Tammy Long of Cambridge City, Anna Cooper of Indianapolis, Steve Boyles of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Junior and David Rose of New Castle; 2 sisters, Joyce Stevens of Lewisville and Sheila Simpson of Rushville; step-father, Willie Rose of Sexton; nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father James Bell and step-mother Connie Rose. Graveside services will be at noon on Friday October 26, 2012 at the New Lisbon Cemetery in New Lisbon, Indiana. Pastor Junior Rose will officiate. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
