LEWISVILLE- Robin Mae (Shultz) Smith, 54, passed away Saturday morning June 13, 2020 at her home in Lewisville, Indiana. Robin was born in Richmond, Indiana on January 9, 1966. She grew up in the Hagerstown community and graduated from high school there in 1984. Robin and her husband, Larry, have made their home in Lewisville since 2009. Family was Robin's top priority in life. She was a devoted wife and mother and always available to help with any need. She loved spending time with the grandchildren. Her selfless nature extended beyond family to the work she did as a caregiver at area nursing homes, hospitals, group homes and privately.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 30 years, Larry Martin Smith. They were married in Jellico, Tennessee on July 22, 1990. 3 children, Victoria May-Lewis of Muncie, Joshua E. (Jessica) May and Ashley L. May both of Lewisville; her father and step mother, Rodney R. and Patsy Shultz of New Castle; her mother, Ada Jewel Pope of New Castle; 4 step sons, Larry M. Jr., Yankton, Jeremy and Jason Smith all of Alabama; 6 grandchildren, David Dixon, Hailey Lewis, Jessie Short, Koby and Kaizley Sellner, Aiden Fourman; 9 step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Kevin and Keith Shultz of Hagerstown, Jason Shultz of New Castle, Shawndel Wilkinson of Lewisville and Crystal Shultz of New Castle.
A celebration of Robin's life will be held at the Lewisville Park from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday June 21, 2020. Memorial Contributions are encouraged to be directed to the American Cancer Society- P.O. Box 22478/ Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
