LEWISVILLE-  Richard W. Coffman Sr., 80, passed away early Saturday morning March 19, 2022 at his home with his wife and son at his side.  A son of the late Burton and Ada Coffman, Richard was born in Rush County, Indiana on May 24, 1941. Richard was a longtime member of the Lewisville community and a graduate of Lewisville High School.  A farmer, Richard was also employed at New Castle Chrysler for thirty-seven years, until his retirement in August of 2003.  His memberships included the Lewisville Masonic Lodge #72 F. & A.M. and the Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Patty Brumfield, whom he married at Milton Christian Church on October 27, 1962; son, Rick Coffman; 2 siblings, Roselyn Sears of Florida and Randall Coffman of Lewisville; nieces and nephews.

There are no public services planned at this time.  Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel, has been entrusted with Richard's cremation.
