RICHMOND-  Richard Paul "Dickie" Roberts, 66, passed away Sunday evening January 10, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana after a brave battle with cancer.  A son of the late Curtis and Marilyn June (Force) Roberts, Richard was born in Richmond, Indian on December 13, 1954.  Richard has lived most of his life in Wayne County mainly in Greens Fork and Richmond.  He worked in several occupations which include mechanics, construction and farming.  Richard enjoyed his pet companions, NASCAR racing, fishing and radio control cars. He was a member of the Sons of AmVets in Greens Fork.

Survivors include his brother, Steven (Julia) Roberts of Liberty; 3 nephews, Andrew (Melanie) Roberts of Centerville, Mathew Roberts of Liberty and Ryan (Sara) Roberts of Centerville; 3 great nieces and nephews, Jayda, Nicholas and Ryleigh; special friend of 13 years, Lois Gordon of Greens Fork; cousins, David and Sharon Stiens of Richmond and Carolyn Salas of California.

Richard was preceded in death by his father on December 12, 2007 and his mother on December 18, 2010.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.  Pastor Brian Richmond will officiate.
