Dublin: Richard "Dickie Dean" Dalrymple, 58, of Dublin, passed away Monday July 19, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 14, 1952 in New Castle, IN the son of the late Vernon S. and Margaret L. (Green) Dalrymple. Richard was a U.S. Army vetern and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Lawrence H Bertsch American Legion Post 169 and a member of the Connersville VFW. Surviving relatives include; two sons; Sean Dalrymple (Jennifer) of Milton and Robert Scott Dalrymple of Cambridge City, daughter; Brandi Sourbeer of Pershing, four grandchildren; Shaila, Michael, Abigail Dalrymple and Imagen Sourbeer, his life companion; Debbie Wallen of Dublin, two sisters; Sharon Pollit (Wayne) of Connersville and Jennifer Boyd (Randy) of Milton, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by; parents, two brothers; Tom Dalrymple (8/2003),and Jeff Dalrymple (6/2009) Services will be Friday July 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, with American Legion Chaplin Larry McDaniel officating the service. Burial will follow at the Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing with full military honors provided by the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday July 22, 2010 at the funeral home.
