DUBLIN- Paula Jean Amyx, 49, passed away on Sunday morning September 22, 2013 at her home in Centerville, Indiana. Paula was born in New Castle, Indiana on March 18, 1964. She grew up in the Dublin and Cambridge City communities and attended Lincoln High School. Paula had worked in area restaurants including Welliver's in Hagerstown and most recently she had been employed as a nurses aid at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville. Survivors include her husband Jim Amyx. 3 sons, Travis and Trent Amyx of Milton and Jacob Amyx of Greenfield; step son, Jimmy Lee Amyx of Brookville; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Helen Joyce Oakes and Brenda Jo Hunter of Illinois; 2 brothers, Rick Hunter of Putnamville and Mark Hunter of Dublin. Paula was preceded in death by her mother, Joan (Maxwell) Hunter-Furman ( 1978); father, Tracy Paul Hunter (2001); 2 sisters, 8 year old, Jana Lynn Hunter (1962) and Debbie McCoy. Following cremation, the family will receive friends on Saturday September 28, 2013 from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Dublin Community Club in Dublin. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
