DUBLIN- Patricia Ann "Patty" Lawrence, 77, passed away Sunday evening August 14, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Earl and Gladys (Dunn) Starks, Patty was born in Greenville, Ohio on August 1, 1939. She attended high school in Hollansburg, Ohio and moved to the Dublin community in 1961. Patty was a stay at home mom and made her family her life. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking with her daughter and watching her grandchildren grow into fine young adults. Patty was a past member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post 169 and enjoyed playing BINGO in her leisure. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Tamara and Donald Pitcher of Richmond; 3 grandchildren, Brittney (Travis) Sherwood, Dillon and Dakota Pitcher; 2 sisters, Barbara Nickson of Augusta, KY and Mary Jane Lizak of Hollansburg, OH; 1 sister in-law, Ann Starks of Greenville, OH; nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. "Jerry" Lawrence on August 21, 2010. They were married in Richmond, Indiana on October 18, 1961. 2 sons, 5 year old Skip in 1965 and infant Robert Allen in 1962; 1 sister, Karen Mitchell; 2 brothers, George and Joe Starks. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday August 19, 2016 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday August 18th from 4-7 p.m..
