SPICELAND - Patsy Pierce, 74, of Spiceland passed away Tuesday evening, July 28, 2015 at her residence where she has lived since 1972. One of three children of the late Clifford Edward and Edna Mae (Higgins) Henry, Patsy was born on August 27, 1940 in New Castle, Indiana. On September 8, 1958 she married the late Dale J. Pierce in New Castle. Patsy took pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed shopping and taking care of animals. Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Pierce (partner, Debra Dearmond), Lisa (Jim) Fowler all of Lewisville; grandchildren, Ashley (Larry) Gambler of Ohio, Christina (Gayland) Richardson of Mount Summit, Jason Fowler of Lewisville; great-grandchildren, Matthew Gambler, Grace & Hunter Richardson, one on the way; sister, Celestine Bratton of New Castle. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband on October 25, 2005; brother, Charles Edward Henry. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 115 West U.S. Hwy 40, Lewisville, Indiana 47352. Pastor Gene McComas will officiate. Burial will follow at Lewisville Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the funeral home.
